Nel primo pomeriggio di oggi, 08 febbraio 2022, sono state rese note le nomination ai Premi Oscar; premio più ambito in ambito cinematografico, la cerimonia di premiazione si terrà il prossimo 27 marzo 2022 al Dolby Theatre di Los Angeles. La 94esima edizione degli Academy Awards vede Il potere del cane di Jane Campion in testa con ben 12 candidature, seguono Dune di Denis Villeneuve, West Side Story di Steven Spielberg e Belfast di Kenneth Branagh. La quota italiana è presente nella categoria Miglior film internazionale con l’acclamato E’ stata la mano di Dio diretto da Paolo Sorrentino.
